Special Education for Special Needs

Over the years the term “Special Education” has grown to cover a broad scope of issues.  This course will look at some of the most common Special Education issues such as working with students diagnosed with dyslexia, ADD, ADHD, autism, and emotional disorders.  The resources that will be used for this class will come from government agencies and professional organizations that specialize in special education.  Your final project for the course will be to either develop a web quest for your students or a professional development presentation for fellow educators, parents, and/or community groups.
