Reading Resources from the Web

There are several theories for how to teach reading effectively. This course will help you research different theories, understand which might meet your students’ needs most effectively and help you develop a more effective approach to teaching reading. It will also help you discover new methods and sharpen the skills you already have.  In this course you will be introduced to websites that can help you identify literacy practices that will help students with different learning styles.  Once you have started using the web resources you will design a web quest based course project that will improve your students reading skills.
