Multiculturalism is what made American the melting pot it is today. This course will provide the skills needed to study the different cultural groups that make up America. They will also learn how the cultures that have come to America shaped American Culture.  The course also looks at the concept of multiculturalism in schools. The resources used and the lessons learned can be transferred to research on any culture. Students will be able to relate to the issues that government must face when dealing with multiple cultural needs and unique customs and how to assimilate them into the American culture.  With the help of our project, your students will be able to develop critical thinking skills that can be used inside and outside the classroom.
