Instructional Technologist Certificate Program

Editure Professional Development is proud to partner with Old Dominion University to offer a certificate program in Instructional Technology beginning in March 2013.  The certificate program is designed for school leaders and teachers who want to further their knowledge and skills in the use of technology in teaching PreK-12 students.

The Instructional Technologist Certificate Program includes three courses:

  • Developing Technology-Integrated Units of Study, Student Exemplars  and Assessment Rubrics;
  • Google Apps for Educators for Classroom Communication, Collaboration and Data-Tracking; and
  • Students as Digital Content Creators: Differentiating Instruction Using Technology.

During each course, you will create your own digital resources to use in your instructional practice and by the end of the certificate program you will have created a personalized professional learning portfolio that you can put to use immediately in your classroom. The courses offered in this program are aligned to the Common Core State Standards and the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) National Education Technology Standards.
